Grand Rapids, Forest Hills, and East Grand Rapids Weather Get Grand Rapids, Forest Hills, and East Grand Rapids Weather Reports Here  West central Michigan features a four seasons climate with pleasant summers and white winters. January is the coldest month with highs in the 20s and lows dipping into the mid-teens. February days rise into the low 30s, although nights remain chilly, remaining only in the teens. March warms up to the low 40s during the day with nights just above freezing and April shows the start of spring with highs rising to the mid-50s, although evening lows can still dip to around 35 degrees. May days turn mild with highs in the low 70s and nights in the 50s and June becomes positively balmy with days in the high 70s yet cool and fresh nights in the mid to high 50s. July is the warmest month with days in the low 80s and nights in the 60s and August temperatures hover around 80 during the day and 60 at night as well. There can be significant humidity in the mornings, especially in July and August. Pleasant September days are in the low 70s with nights falling to the 50s and October sees the advent of fall with days dropping to the high 50s and evenings to around 40 degrees. November days are in the mid 40s with nights as cold as 30 degrees and about eight inches of snow falling making for a picture postcard perfect holiday season. December is the snowiest month when up to twenty inches might fall and daytime temps average in the low 30s with nights in the low 20s. Snow continues falling through March at about 10 inches per month with several inches of rain falling per month throughout the rest of the year, keeping everything green in this grand, garden paradise.
